US Economic Outlook

The Pandemic was a depression level event in the second quarter.  Poor policy will prolong the rebound and risk a permanent change in consumer behavior.

  • Trump card.

    A slowing economy meets a Pandemic. Political malfeasance may deliver the Depression.

  • Separation anxiety.

    A weak economy is walloped by the Pandemic. A science-driven response may improve European competitiveness versus the US.

  • Debt and Demand.

    Quick action avoids a calamity in Asia. The prior growth miracle, however, may be ending.
